Want the best of both gymnastics and dance? 
We are excited to have a Tall Timbers trained coach teach our combo class. 
Class will consist of 30 minutes of basic gymnastics instruction and 30 minutes of basics of dance. 
All classes are held at the Rec Center at 516 Montrose.

  • When will classes begin?: Registration is held on a monthly basis. Classes will begin the first week of May
  • What should my child wear?: We ask that participants wear all black athletic clothing or leotards.
  • What will I need to provide for my child: You will need to provide your child with the appropriate shoes if deemed necessary. Ballet or jazz shoes are preferred but are not required.
  • What do I do while my child is in class?: We ask that all guardians remove themselves from the room while class is in session. We do have cameras set up for you to view the class in our lobby if you would like to stay and watch.
  • Will there be a recital or showcase?: Parks and Recreation will hold a spring show off and winter recital to showcase the skills your students are learning while in class.
  • When is my payment due for next month?: Registration is the last week of the month for the following month. You must be paid in full before you can begin classes.

Erin Gentry is a certified EC-12 Art Teacher who loves sharing art techniques with students of all ages! Art classes are available to students in grades 4-12 and focus on introducing different art tools, or media, and building skill level through a variety of different projects. Students can expect the chance to experiment with paint, marker, charcoal, and many other media as well as opportunities to show their work in local art competitions. 

All supplies provided.

Klass is an all-ladies interval-style, a workout program that aims to blast unwanted fat, sculpt lean muscles, and rev metabolisms! It's a small group training with a personalized feel. Come join us so we can help you find a healthier you!

Chess Class
Chess 101 - Copy - Copy
Chess is a Passion of Instructors Rita and Steve Frenzel. The class is for beginner through tournament-level students while providing a fun and exciting atmosphere. Our year-round curriculum includes lessons for brand new beginners as well as more advanced players. All students are taught on their level. The class is structured with a combination of lessons and practice time. 

The game of Chess is designed to be both entertaining and educational. Students learn to focus, evaluate options, and determine the best sequence for moves. Plus, several colleges and universities offer scholarships for chess players.

Class meeting dates:
Tuesdays at 5:30pm-6:30pm
